The Process

Pre-shoot consultation

Conversation via phone call or zoom to discuss any questions you may have.
Welcome pack will be delivered via email
Photoshoot

Upon arrival at the location, we do a ‘location walk’ together. This is where we tour the location together and make a plan for your photoshoot. We’ll talk about how the light will look in different locations.
After the location walk, we start the fun… the photography! This is where the magic is.
We will spend the next hour or so creating beautiful imagery that you will treasure forever.
Post shoot

The hard work for you is done and dusted, it’s time to relax whilst I polish your images.
I’ll put my magic touch on your images and send them over to you in an online gallery for you to ‘ooh’ and ‘aah’ over.
We will then do an in person viewing session together where you can decide how you’d like to display your images.

I feel very privileged that Evie was able to capture the relationship between us and our hairy horse family in a remarkable golden evening in a local field of poppies. Evie was able to put me and my teenage daughter's nerves at ease as she quickly and quietly worked her magic. She was able to really show off my mares spirited character and the silly connection we have together. What ensued was a good hour or so of relaxed smiles, giggles, and pure happiness, as we chased the golden light on a warm summer evening. We also managed to rope my very reluctant another half into some of the photos (and he even smiled and posed with ponies!). Evie took care of every detail, from misbehaving dogs, moody mares, styling advice, poses, and locations - it's hard to feel nervous when her bubbly, friendly personality lights the place up.
I knew we had captured some special images and was most definitely not disappointed when it came to my viewing - the most difficult part of the whole process was choosing which ones to have - I loved them all!

Our evening with Evie Lewis Photography was enveloped in warm sunshine and laughter. As the sunset, the golden hour seemed to enhance the summer’s evening, the girls and their ponies appeared to glow in the light from the sky and barley fields.
Evie was so kind with the girls and even managed to gently encourage and persuade my husband into a family shot, no mean feat as he is notoriously disagreeable about having his photograph taken! We were so delighted with our photos from Evie, they represent a moment in time we will always remember and the love we feel for our family and adored ponies. The hardest part of the whole experience is deciding which shot for the sitting room wall!
